For CSIR UGC NET Exam 2018, online registration will end today i.e on October 17, 2018. Candidates who have not applied yet can do so today. The application process for the CSIR UGC NET Exam had started on 25 September and will end today – October 17, 2018. Earlier, the last date for online application submission was October 15, 2018 and later it was extended to Oct 17. The examination is likely to be conducted on December 16, 2018.
A premier national R&D organisation, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, on behalf of UGC, conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers in Chemical Sciences, Earth/ Atmospheric/ Ocean/ Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences. National Testing Agency (NTA) is the exam conducting body for other subjects.

Age Limit and Educational Qualification
It is important to note that for JRF(NET) maximum age is 28 years as on 01-07-2018 (upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/Persons with Disability(PwD)/female applicants and 03 years for OBC (non creamy layer) applicants). No upper age limit for Lectureship (NET). M.Sc or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/B.E/B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ MBBS. B.Sc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-Ph.D program can apply for this exam.
If you are eligible and interested but have not applied yet, then you can do so today only by visiting the official website of the council http://csirhrdg.res.in/ for registration. The Admit Card release date has not been announced yet, but after the completion of the registration process, the CSIR will release the hall tickets for the exam. 3. Register yourself on the next page.
4. Once registered again login and make changes, if required before final submission.
5. Application number will be auto-generated on successful submission of online application.
