SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Exam Official Notification to be Out on October 22, 2018

Finally, the wait is over. Good news for 12th Pass candidates, who are waiting for SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2018. As per the official sources, the Staff Selection Commission is all set to release the official notification for Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2018 soon on its official website, i.e. on October 22, 2018. The application process for the exam will start on 22 October, 2018 and the online window for the registration will be closed on November 19, 2018 (5:00 pm).

Popularly known as SSC, the Staff Selection Commission conducts a Computer Based Examination for the Recruitment of Stenographers. The examination date of the recruitment exam would be notified later by the commission. Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2018

Candidates should have passed class 12 standard examination from any recognised board. The age limit for the post of SSC stenographer is from 18 to 27 years. It is important to note that, the upper age limit is relaxable up to 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC, ST and 10 years for PWD category candidates as per the government rules.

How to apply for SSC Steno Grade C and D Exam 2018

As per the short notice in an employment newspaper (Dated: 20-26 October 2018) the interested candidates can apply online on the website of the commission. Once the registration will start, the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

  • Visit the official website  https://ssc.nic.in/
  • Click on “Apply Now” and read all the instructions carefully.
  • Fill all the required information.
  • Upload all the required documents.
  • Deposit the application fee.
  • Click on Submit.
  • Download the application form for further reference.
