The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has extended the last date to register for UGC NET December 2018 Exam to October 17, 2018. Earlier, the last date of registration was October 15, 2018. The CSIR UGC NET Exam will be held on 16th December 2018.

The CSIR UGC National Eligibility Test provides Research Fellowships to bright young men and women for training in methods of research under the expert guidance of faculty members/ scientists working in University Department/ National Laboratories and Institutions in various fields of Science. This test also determines the eligibility of candidates for Lecturership positions in Indian Universities/ Colleges.
The CSIR UGC NET December 2018 Exam will be held in five subjects – Chemical Sciences, Earth/ Atmospheric/ Ocean/ Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.
