UPSC Exam – Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Interview Schedule of the Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service Examination 2020. The written exam was held on 16, 17 and 18-10-2020 and candidates were selected for the Interview/ Personality Test. Those who have been shortlisted for the interview on the basis of their performance in UPSC IES/ISS written exam 2020 can check the roll number list on the official website. The interview will be held from 19-04-2021 to 23-04-2021. The interviews/personality test will be conducted in two sessions. i.e. Morning (9:00 AM) and Afternoon (1:00 PM).
Around 131 candidates are shortlisted for ISS interview while 31 examinees are selected for the IES interview. The candidates would be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims relating to age, educational qualifications, community, physical disability (where applicable) etc. at the time of the Personality Test. The admit cards for the Interview/ Personality Test will be uploaded on the official website in due course of time. Interview/ Personality Test:- The candidate will be interviewed by a Board of competent and unbiased observers who will have before them a record of his/her career. The object of the interview is to assess his/her suitability for the service for which he/she has competed. The interview is intended to supplement the written examination for testing the general and specialised knowledge and abilities of the candidate.
