UPSC Exams – UPSC Recruitment – New Public Service Commission Job Notifications
Union Public Service Commission i.e UPSC is an all India level recruiting body that holds responsibilities of several recruitments through competitive examinations and interviews. UPSC CDS Exam:- The Combined Defence Services exam is conducted in the month of February and November for recruitment into the Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force Academy, Indian Military Academy, and Officers Training Academy,
Educational Qualification:- The minimum educational qualification required for UPSC CDS Exam is a Degree or Bachelor of Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
Age Limit:- Candidates having age between 18 to 23 years (For Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala), 20 to 24 years (For Air Force Academy) and 18 to 24 (For Officers Training Academy, Chennai) are eligible to apply for the exam. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the government rules.
UPSC Engineering Services Exam:- The Commission conducts the Engineering Services Exam for the recruitment of candidates in the Engineering Services of the various departments under the Government of India. The notification for the exam is declared in the month of September.
Educational Qualification:- The minimum educational qualification required for UPSC Engineering Service Exam is Degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
Age Limit:- Candidates having age between 21 to 30 years are eligible to apply for the exam. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the government rules.
UPSC NDA & NA Exam:- For the recruitment of the candidates to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA, the commission conducts the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Exam twice a year. The exam notifications are declared in the month of January and June. The exam is conducted in the month of April and September. The notification release and examination date may vary.
Educational Qualification:- The minimum educational qualification required for UPSC NDA & NA Exam is the 12th Pass or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Age Limit:- Candidates having age between 18 to 21 years are eligible to apply for the exam. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the government rules.
UPSC Civil Services Exam:- For the recruitment of the IFS, IPS and IAS, this competitive exam is organized by the commission. Candidates have to clear three stages of the exam namely preliminary examination, main examination and interview to join Civil Services. The whole process of the Civil Services Exam (from notification of the Prelims to the announcement of the final results) takes around one year. The screening test, the preliminary exam is held in the month of May-June. The main examination is held in September–October after the result is declared in July-August. The final face to face interview is in the month of March-April.
Educational Qualification:- The minimum educational qualification required for UPSC Civil Services Exam is the Degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutes incorporated by an Act of Parliament.
Age Limit:- Candidates having age between 21 to 32 years are eligible to apply for the exam. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the government rules.

Application Process for UPSC Exams – Apply Online
All desirous candidates can apply for the UPSC Examination by the UPSC Online Portal. Before applying, candidates must ensure their eligibility and follow the instructions carefully. Start filling registration form after ensuring eligibility. A registration id and password will be generated on the candidates’ given email ids and mobile numbers once the registration is done. While submitting the Registration Form, candidates will be required to upload a scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the respective advertisement. After that, candidates should fill the UPSC Online Application Form. After filling out an online application, application fees also need to be paid online. Candidates can download admit cards for the exam as well as for the skill test/ typing test using that registration id and password. UPSC Exam Pattern – Selection Process
The UPSC Exams are conducted generally in two stages namely Preliminary and Main Examination depending on the nature of the exam. The Online Exam is objective in nature. Skill Test/ Computer Proficiency Test/ Typing Test/ Physical Efficiency Test can also be conducted for some posts. The merit list of the selected candidates is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in all the Tiers.
