Indian Railways is expected to release recruitment notification for 9500 posts. Ministry of Railways announced that recruitment will be under Railway Protection Force. The ministry tweeted that recruitment process will begin soon and out of the total number of posts 50% will be for female candidates.
Indian Railways is conducting recruitment since February. Currently, Indian Railways is conducting registration process for more than 89,000 posts. The first stage selection for railway jobs will be held in April/ May.
The first job notification under Indian Railways came for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician post. Railway Recruitment Board notifies more than 26000 vacancies. After few days, the second notification came notifying recruitment for Group D posts.
According to reports, more than 1.5 crore applications have already been submitted in the first week of March to the RRBs against the two notifications. In 2015, against CEN 03/ 2015 advertisement, 90 lakh applications were registered for nearly 19,000 posts. This proves that aspirants generally desire for Railway Jobs.
