OPSC Assistant Section Officer Application Process Begins

Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has started the online application process for 500 vacant posts of Assistant Section Officer (ASO). Eligible candidates can apply till November 9, 2018, for Odisha Assistant Section Officer Recruitment. The posts are permanent and the selected candidates will be appointed in Group-B of Odisha Secretariat Service under Home Department.

Candidates having a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess such other equivalent qualification and adequate knowledge in Computer Application can apply for this recruitment. Apart from this, they must have age between 21 to 32 years.

How to Apply for Odisha ASO Recruitment 2018:-

  • Click on the above-mentioned link.
  • Click on the Official Link and the OPSC Online portal will open.
  • Click on Apply Online link.
  • Enter security code and click on ‘I Agree’ statement.
  • Fill all the details and upload your scanned photograph, signature and left thumb impression.
  • Click on the Submit button.

Candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- as an examination fee at any branch of State bank of India by taking the printout of Online Challan. SC/ ST candidates of Odisha and PWD candidates are exempted from payment of this fee.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination and Skill Test in Computer. The OPSC ASO Written Exam will be tentatively held on 23rd December 2018. The exam will be held at different centers in 33 zones of the State. The candidates are required to select the zone of their choice where they would like to appear at the exam, at the time of filling the online application form.
