Central Railway had invited the applications from eligible candidates for 2573 posts in June with a one-month window for candidates to apply online. Candidates who haven’t applied yet are advised to apply immediately as the application process is concluding on July 25, 2018 (5:00 PM).

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list which will be prepared on the basis of percentage marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade of Apprenticeship.
Candidate’s age should be between 15-24. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years in case of SC/ ST candidates, 3 years in case of OBC candidates and 10 years in case of Persons with Disability.
Applicants need to deposit Rs. 100 as application fees. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates. The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking/ SBI Challan etc. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.
Candidates are required to apply online by visiting www.rrccr.com. At the time of registration, candidates need their Aadhar Card Number to fill. Candidates are required to upload the scanned copy of the color photograph and signature. Apart from this, they are also required to upload the scanned copy of the following documents along:
- SSC (10th Standard) or its equivalent mark sheet
- Certificate for proof of date of birth
- Consolidated mark sheet for all semesters of the trade in which applied/ Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks
- National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT/ SCVT
- Caste Certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates
- Disability certificate in case of PWD candidates
- Discharge certificate/ Serving certificate, in case of candidates applied against Ex-Servicemen Quota.
