Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has increased the vacancies for which the 64th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Exam will be conducted. Total 140 new vacancies from the two departments of the state have been added to the vacancies earlier advertised. Earlier the vacancies advertised were 1255 which has been increased by 1395.

According to the official notification, 133 vacancies for Block Panchayat Raj Officer in Panchayati Raj Department and 7 vacancies for Town Executive Officer in Town Development and Housing Department have been added to the current stats. The rest of the vacancies advertised and the conditions of the recruitment remain the same as the original advertisement.

BPSC had begun the registration for the 64th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Exam on August 3, 2018. The last date to register for the exam is August 20, 2018. The last date to pay the application fee is August 24, 2018. After registration, candidates can apply online till August 31, 2018.
