Job Opportunities through HPPSC Exams – Eligibility Criteria
HP Judicial Service Competitive Exam:- This exam is conducted by HPPSC to recruit the candidates for the post of Civil Judge in Judicial Service of the state. The educational qualification required for HP Judicial Service Exam is a Degree in Law as recognized by the Bar Council of India. Candidates holding age between 22 – 35 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
HP Subordinate Allied Services Exam:- This exam is conducted by HPPSC to recruit the candidates for the post of Excise and Taxation Officer, Inspector, Extension Officer and Election Kanungo in the state departments such as Excise and Taxation, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Cooperation, Industries, etc. The educational qualification required for HP Subordinate Allied Services Exam is a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Candidates holding age between 18 – 45 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
HP Administrative Combined Competitive Exam:- This exam is conducted by HPPSC to recruit candidates for various posts such as Tehsildar, Block Development Officer, Assistant Registrar, etc in Administrative Service. The educational qualification required for HP Administrative Combined Competitive Exam is a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Candidates holding age between 21 – 35 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
State Eligibility Test (SET):- This exam is conducted by HPPSC to determine the eligibility of the candidates for the recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges of HP state. SET is conducted in 22 subjects. The educational qualification required for HP SET is a Master’s Degree from a recognized university.
Application Process for HPPSC Exams – Apply Online
Candidates can register for all the HPPSC Exams through online mode only. They will be required to upload a scanned photograph and signature as per the format given in the respective advertisement. Application Fees can be paid online or offline. In case of offline payment, candidates are required to take a printout of online challan for payment of fee at any branch of PNB. Once the application process is done, a Unique Registration ID Number will be generated and displayed on the screen. Candidates are requested to note down the Registration ID Number. HPPSC Exam Pattern – Selection Procedure – Latest Updates
The HPPSC Exams consist of two stages i.e. Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. HPPSC Preliminary Exam is objective in nature and HPPSC Main Exam is objective and descriptive both in nature. After the Main Exam, Viva Voce is conducted. The merit list of the selected candidates is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Main Examination and Viva Voce. In case of the State Eligibility Test, there will be a single test consisting of two papers. Only objective type questions will be asked in both the papers.
