Educational Qualification | A candidate must be an Advocate of not less than seven years of continuous practice immediately preceding the last date fixed for the submission of application forms. |
Age Limit | Candidates should have age between 35 to 45 years to apply for this exam. Age is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates belonging to UP up to 3 years. |
UP Higher Judicial Service Exam Pattern
To crack the Uttar Pradesh HJS Exam 2018 it is important to be acquainted with the updated exam pattern for the paper. It is mandatory for every applicant to clear each level of examination to get selected in Allahabad High Court.
The recruitment will be based on three stages – Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. The Preliminary Examination will consist of objective type questions of 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be two hours. Candidates securing 45% or above marks will be called for Main Written Examination. Candidates securing 45% or above marks in the Main Written Exam shall be called to appear in the interview.
The interview will be of 200 marks. The interview shall be in a thorough and scientific manner and shall take anything between 25 and 30 minutes for each candidate.

The Centre, venue address, post applied for, date and time for both Preliminary and Main examination and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter. Keep checking to Admit Card page and eligible candidate can download his/her call letter by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. It is important to note that no hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier.
