NTA Exams – NTA Recruitment – National Eligibility Test
The National Testing Agency is a premier testing organization that conducts exams such as JEE, NEET, CMAT, GPAT, UGC NET, etc for admission or fellowships in higher educational institutes. The National Eligibility Test is conducted by the agency on behalf of the University Grants Commission to determine the eligibility of the candidates for the eligibility for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship in universities and colleges of India.

UGC NTA NET – Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:- The minimum educational qualification required for NET is a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in Humanities and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science, etc. Candidates can appear in the subject of their Master’s Degree only.
Upper Age Limit:- For Junior Research Fellowship, candidates must not have age more than 30 years. Relaxation in age will be given to the candidates as per the rules. There will be no upper age limit for Assistant Professor.

Application Process for NTA NET – Apply Online
All desirous candidates can apply for the UGC NET Exam through the NTA Online Portal. Before applying, candidates must ensure their eligibility and follow the instructions carefully. After ensuring eligibility, fill the online Application Form completely. While submitting the online form, you will be required to upload a scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the respective advertisement. After application submission, a Registration Number/ Application Number will be generated. Note down the Registration No./ Application No as it will be used next time when you log in. National Eligibility Test Pattern – Selection Procedure
The National Eligibility Test shall be conducted as a Computer Based Test. It will consist of two papers and both the papers will consist of objective type questions. A total of 150 questions will be asked. There will be no break between both papers and 03 hours will be given to candidates to attempt the test. There will be no negative marking. The NET qualifying certificate for Junior Research Fellowship will remain valid for three years from the date of issue. Candidates can check their results on the NTA Results page.
