Rajasthan Public Service Commission has released the written exam dates for the Assistant Engineer Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2018. The Exam for filling the 916 vacancies is scheduled to be held from 16 December to 18 December 2018. The recruitment process was announced in April 2018 and the online application was available till 29 May 2018.

RPSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment Exam Pattern 2018
The Competitive Examination for the recruitment will be held in two successive stages:-
(i) Preliminary Examination and (ii) Main Examination
The Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers, i.e. one compulsory paper and one optional paper, which will be of objective type and carry a maximum of 400 marks. The Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.
The Main Examination will consist of the conventional type papers. A candidate must take all the compulsory subjects and any one of the optional subjects. Each of the optional subject will have two papers. The time allowed for each paper shall be three hours.
Candidates who obtain such minimum qualifying marks in the written test of the Main examination as may be fixed by the Commission in their discretion shall be summoned by them for an interview.
