Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to release the IBPS Probationary Officers Prelims result soon. As per the reports, the IBPS official said “The results of the Probationary Officer prelims examination will be released either on October 30 or 31. The candidates who had appeared in the examination can check the results through the official website”.
For recruitment of Probationary Officers in the participating banks, the IBPS conducted PO preliminary exam on October 13, 14, 20, and 21. The candidates who will clear the preliminary examination will have to appear for the main examination that is scheduled to be conducted on November 18 and the Main exam results are expected to be declared in December this year. The interview round is scheduled for January or February 2019, with provisional job allotment set for April next year.

It is important to note that the Preliminary Examination consisted of 100 objective type questions each carrying one mark. There were three sections – English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. For each section 20 minutes time was allotted to attempt. Candidates have to qualify in each of the three sections by securing minimum cut-off marks. An adequate number of qualified candidates in each category will be shortlisted for the Main Exam.

IBPS PO Prelims Result 2018: Steps to Check
1. Visit the official website ibps.in
2. Click on the ‘IBPS PO Preliminary Exam Result’ link.
3. In the new window, enter the registration number, roll number.
4. Results will appear on the screen.
5. Download it, and take a print out for further reference.
