Bihar Judicial Services 2018 Preliminary Exam Date Announced, Application Process Concluding Soon

The Bihar Public Service Commission will tentatively conduct Bihar Judicial Services Preliminary Exam 2018 on November 25, 2018. The Commission has recently released a notification regarding the exam date. However, the date may be changed by BPSC if necessary. BPSC had begun the application process for Bihar Judicial Services Exam on September 11, 2018, and it will conclude on today i.e. October 12, 2018.

 The Preliminary Exam will be OMR based and the questions will be objective in nature. There will be two papers in the prelims exam namely General Studies and Law. The General Studies paper will carry 100 marks and the Law paper will carry 150 marks. The BJS Preliminary Exam will cover the following topics:-

  • General Knowledge including Current Affairs
  • Elementary General Science
  • Law of Evidence & Procedure
  • Constitutional & Administrative Law of India
  • Hindu Law & Mohammedan Law
  • Law of Transfer of Property and Principles of Equity including Law of Trusts and Specific Relief
  • Law of Contracts & Torts
  • Commercial Law

Candidates qualified in the Preliminary examination will be called for Bihar Judicial Services Main Examination. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination and Interview.
