Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the notification for MP State Eligibility Test 2018 or MP SET 2018 for determining the eligibility for appointment as Assistant Professor in various subjects. The test will be held in total 19 subjects. As per the official notification, the online registration for the exam will begin on October 11, 2018, and willing candidates can apply till November 11, 2018.

MP SET 2018 Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern and Syllabus
After knowing the important dates you all might be thinking about the eligibility criteria for this test. You might be wondering what is the required qualification for appearing in this paper? Candidates who wish to apply for MP State Level Eligibility Test 2018 must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria given below.
Eligibility Criteria:-
- Candidates must be Post Graduated or studying in last year of Post Graduation Degree from the University or Academic Institution established by the Central Act or State Act or University under University Grants Commission, 1956.
- Unreserved candidates must have secured 55% marks and Reserved candidates must have secured 50% marks in Post Graduation Degree.
- Candidates having Ph.D. Degree obtained before 19 September 1991 will be given 5% relaxation in Post Graduation.
MP State Eligibility Test Pattern 2018
Knowing about the pattern will help a candidate to prepare for the exam in a better way. The following article will enlighten a candidate with the marking scheme, paper pattern, total marks, no of questions to be asked and syllabus. MP SET will comprise of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I (Compulsory) will have objective type questions from General Awareness and Teaching & Research Aptitude. Paper II will have the objective type questions (Matching, True/ False, Assertion Reasoning Type) from the one subject chosen by the candidate from 19 subjects. There will be no negative marking.

MP State Eligibility Test 2018 Admit Card
Appearing candidates can download the admit card for the MP SET 2018 through the MPPSC Admit Cards Page. Stay tuned with us to download MPPSC SET 2018 Hall Ticket as soon as it is out.
MP SLET admit card will contain details such as the name of the candidate, roll number, photograph, signature and date of the exam, time, center name. It is important to note that candidates need to carry their admit cards along with them to the exam center. No hard copy of admit cards will be issued to any candidate.
