Every year, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) conducts exams at the state level to recruit eligible candidates for Group C and Non-Gazetted Posts in various services of the Jharkhand Government. It conducts competitive exams for the recruitment of the candidates. JSSC conducts three exams every year.

Job Opportunities through JSSC Exams – Eligibility Criteria
JSSC Special Branch Constable Competitive Exam:- This exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for the posts of Constable in Special Branch (Close Cadre). The educational qualification required for the JSSC Special Branch Constable Competitive Exam is a 12th certificate. Candidates holding age between 19 to 25 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Exam:- This exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for the posts of Assistant Branch Officer, Block Supply Officer, Block Welfare Officer, Zonal Inspector cum Kanungo, Cooperative Extension Officer, Planning Assistant, and Block Panchayat Raj Officer in various departments of the state. The educational qualification required for the exam is a Graduate or equivalent degree. Candidates holding age between 21 to 35 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
Jharkhand ANM Competitive Exam:- This exam is conducted to recruit the candidates for the posts of Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) in various districts of the state. The educational qualification required for the exam is a 10th pass certificate and 18 months of ANM training certificate. Candidates must be registered with Jharkhand State Nursing Council. Candidates holding age between 18 to 38 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
Application Process for JSSC Exams – Apply Online
Candidates can register for all the JSSC Exams through online mode only. They will be required to upload a scanned photograph and signature as per the format given in the respective advertisement. Application Fees also need to be paid online. Once the application process is done, a Unique Registration ID Number will be generated and displayed on the screen. JSSC Exam Pattern – Selection Procedure – Latest Updates
The selection procedure for various exams conducted by Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission is different. JSSC Special Branch Constable Competitive Exam comprises of three stages namely Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Exam. Jharkhand General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Exam comprises of two stages namely Preliminary Exam and Main Exam. Jharkhand ANM Competitive Exam consists of only one stage i.e. OMR Based Test.
