Jammu & Kashmir Bank has rolled out the recruitment notification for 250 posts of Probationary Officer (PO). Permanent residents of J&K State, who aspire to join J&K Bank as Probationary Officer are required to register online. Bank proposed to collect online application from October 20, 2018 to November 6, 2018. The examination date is yet not announced by the bank.

Important:- The general category candidates born before 02.01.1988 & after 01.01.2000 are not eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed Graduation or Post Graduation Degree with minimum 60% marks from recognized university/college. The result should have been declared on or before 01.10.2018. The fraction of percentage arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%.

The recruitment process will be held in the three phases i.e Preliminary examination, Mains examination and Interview. The candidates who are shortlisted (10 times the Vacancies) after Preliminary examination will have to appear for Mains examination. The candidates shortlisted (3 times the Vacancies) after the mains examination will be subsequently called for an Interview.

Examination Structure

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut off marks to be decided. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the bank depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main examination.

Process for Arriving at Scores
The Scores of Online Examination are obtained by adopting the following procedure: 

I. Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the Corrected Score after applying penalty for wrong answers.

II. The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores (Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms).

III. Test wise scores and scores on total is reported with decimal point upto two digits.

J&K PO Exam 2018 Admit Card

Appearing candidates can download the admit card for the PO Exam through the official website of the bank, by entering application form number and date of birth. Call letter will contain details such as name of the candidate, roll number, photograph, signature and date of the exam, time, centre name. It is important to note that candidates need to carry their admit cards along with them to the exam center. No hard copy of admit cards will be issued to any candidate.
