IBPS Exams – IBPS Recruitment – New IBPS Job Notifications

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a self-governed academic and research-oriented Institute developed in 1975 for conducting Common Written Examination (CWE) for the recruitment of officers and clerks in Indian banks. IBPS conducts 4 types of CWE mainly for PO, Clerk, Specialist Officer, and RRB to provide manpower in Participating Banks in IBPS Exam (Public Sector Banks and other Financial Institutions).

Here is the list of 26 participating banks which come under IBPS Recruitment:- Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, IDBI Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab, and Sind Bank, State Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India and Vijaya Bank. There are also 22 more Cooperative banks, 11 private banks, and 62 Regional Rural Banks which are also included in the list. Candidates can also subscribe to this page for various Bank of Baroda Jobs, Bank of India Jobs, Indian Bank Jobs, and Other Bank Jobs.

IBPS Exams – Eligibility Criteria – Educational Qualification

Probationary Officer (PO)The willing candidate’s age should be above 20 years and less than 30 years. The SC/ ST/ OBC candidates can enjoy age relaxation as per the rules. The willing candidate must be a citizen of India. For taking the PO Exam, the candidate must be a graduate. The hiring manager considers CA, ICWA, CS, MBA, and PGDBM degrees equivalent to graduation.For the selection, the bank conducts separate written exams in two levels i.e Preliminary & main Examination. Both are objective-type papers having four sections Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude. Preliminary Exam consists of 100 questions with time allotted 1-hour duration while Main having 200 questions with time allotted of 140 minutes having Computer knowledge as an extra subject. Each candidate is required to score minimum marks to be selected in Interviews depending on the number of vacancies available.
IBPS ClericalThe willing candidate should be an Indian citizen and must possess a valid residence certificate. General category candidates must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 28 years and reserved category candidates can enjoy the age relaxation as per govt rules.IBPS Clerk Pattern consists of 2 online exams i.e Prelims exam and the Mains exam. The prelims exam has 3 sections i.e English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. IBPS Mains Exam has 5 sections. General Awareness and Computer Knowledge are two extra sections for the main examination. Mains exam consists of 200 questions, each section containing 40 questions. There are no interviews for Clerical Cadre.
IBPS RRBThe willing candidate should be an Indian citizen and must possess a valid residence certificate. General category candidates must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 28 years and reserved category candidates can enjoy the age relaxation as per govt rules.IBPS RRB Pattern consists of 2 online exams for Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I i.e Prelims exam and the Mains exam. Prelims exam has 2 sections i.e Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. Officer Scale-II and III have only a single online exam. After the examination, Officer Scale-I, II, and III recruitment consist of an interview.
IBPS Specialist OfficerA willing candidate should be an Indian citizen and must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 30 years. Candidate must have completed a 4-year Engineering Degree in relevant discipline/4-year graduation degree/ Degree in law/ Post Graduate in Hindi/Full-time MBA or other higher qualification in relevant discipline.IBPS SO Pattern consists of 2 online exams i.e Prelims exam and the Mains exam. The prelims exam has 3 sections i.e English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The Main Examination consists of 100 questions on professional knowledge with a duration of 1 hour. Each candidate is required to score minimum marks to be selected in Interviews depending on the number of vacancies available.
