IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern

The IBPS (CRP Clerks-XII) Exam will be conducted in two stages, namely Online Preliminary Examination and Online Main Examination. The IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern is given below:-

Candidates have to qualify for each test by securing cut-off marks. Qualified candidates will be called for Online Main Exam.

Those who clear the Main Exam are shortlisted for the provisional allotment process to one of the participating banks. Marks obtained in Preliminary Exam will not be considered for shortlisting. The total marks for Main Exam are 200. Marks will be converted out of 100 for provisional allotment. The candidates are allotted banks on the basis of vacancies in their preferred banks and merit.

There will be a penalty for wrong answers in Preliminary and Main Exams. For each question for which a wrong answer is marked, 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty. If no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility

Educational Qualification(i) A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
(ii) Computer Literacy – Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.
(iii) Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT).
Age LimitCandidates having age between 20 to 28 are eligible to apply for the exam.
Age relaxation is given to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per the government rules.

IBPS Clerk Exam 2022 Admit Card

The Centre, venue address, date and time for examinations (Preliminary and Mains) shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter. An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the authorised IBPS website by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/ Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier. It is important to note that candidates need to carry their IBPS Admit Card along with them to the exam centre.

IBPS Clerk Exam 2022 Result

IBPS will make arrangements for conducting the Online Preliminary Examination for Clerk and declare the result of the Online Preliminary Examination.
