Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized Board of Education. The recruitment process will be held in the three Tiers i.e. Tier-I (Objective Type Exam), Tier-II (Descriptive Type Exam) and Tier-III (Interview/ Personality Test). The candidates who are shortlisted (10 times the Vacancies) after Tier-I will have to appear for Tier-II. All candidates appearing in Tier-II exam would be provisionally admitted in Tier-III exam i.e. interview/ personality test.
Examination Structure
The Tier-I Exam will be Written Examination of Objective Type MCQs. The exam will be divided into 4 parts containing questions of 1 mark each. The total marks allotted to the exam are 100 and the duration of the exam is 2 hours. There will be negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer.

The cut-off marks for UR, OBC & SC/ ST candidates in Tier-I Exam are 35, 34 and 33 respectively. All Ex-Servicemen would be treated in their own category.

The Tier-II exam will be of qualifying nature. Candidates would be required to obtain minimum 20/50 marks so that their marks in Tier-III could be taken into account for preparing final merit list on the basis of combined performance in Tier-I & Tier-III Exam. There is no cut off for Tier-III Exam.

IB Security Assistant/ Executive Exam 2018 Admit Card
Appearing candidates can download the admit card for the Security Assistant Exam through the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs, by entering application form number and date of birth. Call letter will contain details such as name of the candidate, roll number, photograph, signature and date of the exam, time, centre name. It is important to note that candidates need to carry their admit cards along with them to the exam center. No hard copy of admit cards will be issued to any candidate.
