Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule of the Personality Tests (Interviews) on the basis of the written exam results of the Indian Economic Service Examination 2020 and Indian Statistical Service Examination 2020. The Commission had commenced the Personality Tests (Interviews) from 19-04-2021. Due to unprecedented growth in the number of people infected with Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) countrywide. Union Public Service Commission deferred the Personality Test after conducting the interview on the first day on 19-04-2021 (Monday). Now, after reviewing the situation, the Commission has decided to recommence the Personality Test of the IES and ISS Examination, 2020 from 19-07-2021 in two shifts Forenoon (09:00 hrs) and afternoon (13:00 hrs). UPSC released the list of the roll number of the candidates who attend the personality test.

Procedure of Interview:- The candidate will be interviewed by a Board of competent and unbiased observers who will have before them a record of his/her career. The interview is intended to supplement the written examination for testing the general and specialised knowledge and abilities of the candidate. The candidate will be expected to have taken an intelligent interest not only in his/her subjects of academic study but also in events which are happening around him/her both within and outside his/her own State or Country as well as in modern currents of thought and in new discoveries.
e-Summon Letters of Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates will be made available shortly. No request for change in the date and time of the Personality Test (Interview) intimated to the candidates will ordinarily be entertained.
