Paper-I (Computer Based Examination)
The SSC MTS and Havaldar Exam will consist of a Computer-Based Examination (Paper-I), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) (only for the post of Havaldar) and a Descriptive Paper (Paper-II). Paper-I will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part II, III & IV. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Paper-II (Descriptive)
Paper-II will be of the descriptive type in ‘Pen and Paper’ Mode in which the candidates will be required to write a short essay and a letter in English or any language included in the Schedule-VIII of the Constitution. Paper-II will be held only for those candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories.

Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN: Followings are the PET/ PST standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN:

Cycling is not applicable for the post of Havaldar in DGPM, CBIC.
A women candidate, who as a result of tests is found to be pregnant of 12 weeks standing or over, shall be declared temporarily unfit and her candidature will be held in abeyance until the confinement is over.

Document Verification
- All the candidates qualified for Document Verification are required to appear for Document Verification along with the photocopies and original documents.
- Candidates have to bring two passport size recent colour photographs and one original Photo ID proof while appearing for the Document Verification.
- Candidates will have to submit copies of various documents like Matriculation/ Secondary Certificate, Caste/ Category Certificate, Persons with Disabilities Certificate, Relevant Certificate if seeking any age relaxation, No Objection Certificate etc.

SSC MTS and Havaldar Exam Eligibility

Educational Qualification:- The candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Age Limit:- (i) 18-25 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1997 and not later than 01-01-2004) for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue).
(ii) 18-27 years (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1995 and not later than 01-01-2004) for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and a few posts of MTS.

SSC MTS Exam 2021 Admit Card
Candidates can download the Multi-Tasking Staff, and Havaldar Examination, 2021 Exam Hall Ticket from our Admit Cards page.
