Every year, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts exams at the state level to recruit eligible candidates for various posts in different services of the Tamil Nadu Government. Job Opportunities through TNPSC Exams – Eligibility Criteria

Combined Civil Services Exam (Group-I Services):- This exam is conducted by TNPSC to recruit candidates for various posts such as Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner, District Registrar, etc. The recruitment is for different services such as Civil Service, Police Service, Commercial Taxes Service, Co-operative Service, etc. Any Graduate Degree holder can easily apply for this exam. Candidates holding age between 21 – 32 years are eligible. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.

Combined Engineering Services Exam:- This exam is conducted by TNPSC to recruit candidates for the posts of Assistant Electrical Inspector, Assistant Engineer, Junior Architect, and Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health. The recruitment is for different services such as Electrical Inspectorate Service, Agricultural Engineering Service, Engineering Service, Factory Service, etc. An Engineering Graduate or an Architecture Degree holder can easily apply for this exam.

Combined Civil Services Exam (Group-IV Services):- This exam is conducted by TNPSC to recruit candidates for various posts such as Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Field Surveyor, etc. The recruitment is for different services such as Ministerial Service, Judicial Ministerial Service, Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service, Secretariat Service, etc. Any 10th Pass candidate can easily apply for this exam. Candidates holding age between 18 – 30 years are eligible. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.

Application Process for TNPSC Exams – Apply Online

Candidates can register for all the TNPSC Exams through online mode only. They will be required to upload a scanned photograph and signature as per the format given in the respective advertisement. Application Fees also need to be paid online. Once the application process is done, a Unique Registration ID Number will be generated and displayed on the screen. TNPSC Exam Pattern – Selection Procedure – Latest Updates

The TNPSC Exams consist of two stages namely Written Exam and Oral Test. TNPSC Written Exam is objective in nature. After the Written Exam, Oral Test will be held in the shape of an interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the candidates at the Written Exam and Oral Test.
