SSC Constable (GD) & Rifleman (GD) Eligibility Criteria 2021

SSC Constable (GD) Recruitment 2021 – Exam Pattern

The Computer-based examination will consist of one objective type multiple choice paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The computer-based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.

Measurement Test:-

(i) Height – 170 cms (for male) and 157 cms (for female)
(ii) Chest – Minimum 80 cms – 85 cms (with a minimum of 5 cms expansion)

All the candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Computer Based Examination and who qualify all the events of PET and PST are required to appear for Detailed Medical Examination and Document Verification along with the photocopies and original documents.

General Intelligence and Reasoning(i) Analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns will be tested through questions principally of non-verbal type.
(ii) This component may include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, visual memory, discrimination, observations, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasons and figural classification, arithmetic number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding etc.
General Knowledge and General Awareness(i) Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person.
(ii) The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution, and scientific Research etc. These Questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Elementary MathematicsThis paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
English/ HindiCandidates’ ability to understand basic English/ Hindi and his basic comprehension would be tested.

SSC Constable (GD) 2021 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket

Candidates can download the SSC Constable (GD) Exam Hall Ticket from our Admit Cards page. SSC Constable (GD) Admit Card 2021 will contain details such as the name of the candidate, roll number, photograph, signature and date of the exam, time, centre name.
