Job Opportunities through WBPSC Exams – Eligibility Criteria
West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Exam:- The WBCS (Executive) Exam is conducted by WBPSC to recruit the candidates for Group A, B, C and D posts in various state services such as Civil Service, Revenue Service, Cooperative Service, Labour Service, etc. Fresh graduates can easily apply for this exam.
Educational Qualification – The educational qualification required for the WBPSC Civil Service Exam is a Degree from any recognized university. Apart from this, candidates must be able to read, write and speak Bengali.
Age Limit – Candidates holding age between 21 – 36 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Recruitment Exam:- This exam is conducted every year by WBPSC for the recruitment to the posts in the West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service. Commerce Graduates can apply for this exam.
Educational Qualification – The educational qualification required for this exam is a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce OR a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India OR Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India OR MBA/ PGDM (Finance) OR equivalent Post Graduation Degree in Finance.
Age Limit – Candidates holding age not more than 36 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
Application Process for WBPSC Exams – Apply Online
Candidates can register for all the WBPSC Exams through online mode only. They will be required to upload a scanned photograph and signature as per the format given in the respective advertisement. Application Fees can be paid online or offline. Offline payment can be done through any bank counter. Once the application process is done, the User ID and Password will be displayed on the screen. WBPSC Exam Pattern – Selection Procedure – Latest Updates
The WBPSC Exams are held in two stages i.e. Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. WBPSC Preliminary Exam is objective in nature and WBPSC Main Exam is objective and descriptive both in nature. After the Main Exam, a Personality Test is conducted. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer to objective type questions.
