Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Combined Defence Service Examination twice in the year (in the month of February and November). Aspirants who wish to get enrolled as an Officer in Indian Army, Naval, and Air force need to clear this test paper which include subjects like General Knowledge, General English, Elementary Mathematics. Besides it, women entry in Officer’s Academy Chennai is also done through this examination however in this case candidates need to clear only two sections i.e. GK and General English.
