UGC-NET (May 2021) Exam Postponed – Due to COVID-19

UGC – National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) December 2020 cycle (May 2021) has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic which was scheduled to be held from 2nd to 17th May 2021. The revised dates for the UGC-NET December 2020 cycle (May 2021) Examination will be announced later and at least 15 days before the examination.

UGC NET 2021 Exam will be conducted in 81 subjects at different Exam Centers across India for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship. The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only. The Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions. The medium of the Question Paper shall be in English and Hindi only. The duration of the Exam is 3 hours. All the questions are compulsory. There will be no break between papers.

Guidelines for the UGC-NET Exam:- 

  • The candidates shall report at the Examination Centre two hours before the commencement of the examination.
  • All calculations/writing work is to be done only in the rough sheet provided at the Test Centre in the examination.
  • Candidates must bring a printed copy of Admit Card, One passport size photograph and authorized photo IDs at the time of examination.
  • Candidates shall not be permitted to enter the Examination Centre after 8.30 am in First Shift and after 2.30 pm in Second Shift.
  • A seat indicating Roll Number will be allotted to each candidate.
