Staff Selection Commission has revised the Stenographer Grade C and D Examination, 2019 dates. Computer-Based Examination earlier scheduled from 24-12-2020 to 30-12-2020 will now be conducted from 22-12-2020 to 24-12-2020.
SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Exam 2019 notification was released on 09 September 2019. The last date of the application process was 18 October 2020. Initially, the exam was scheduled to be conducted from May 5 to 7, 2020. However, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The exam dates were revised to December 24 to 30. Again, SSC released new exam dates from 22-12-2020 to 24-12-2020.
Stenographer Grade C and D Exam 2019 Dates Reschedule Notice
The exam will be conducted in two stages – Online Exam and Skill Test.
Stage1:- Online examination consisting of objective type multiple-choice questions. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Stage 2:- The candidates who are shortlisted in the Computer Based Examination for the next stage will have to appear for the Skill Test in Stenography. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi at the speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m) for the post of Stenographer Grade-C and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade-D.
Final selection and allocation of Ministries/ Departments will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination and the preference of Posts/ Departments exercised by them at the time of Document Verification.
