Khasi Added for Meghalaya as a Specified Language for 2018 SBI Clerk Exam

The most preferred bank by the job aspirants, State Bank of India has released a notification specifying that Khasi language has been added as a specified language for Meghalaya in addition to Garo and English.

As per the notification the candidates who get finally selected for the state of Meghalaya will have to qualify a language proficiency test before joining except those who produce 10th or 12th standard marksheet/ certificate evidencing having studied any one of the above specified languages.

SBI had released recruitment notification for filling up 9366 regular and backlog vacancies for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) or Clerks. Online registration of the application was from 20 January to 10 February 2018.

Recently, SBI’s Central Recruitment and Promotion Department notified that Preliminary Examination that was scheduled to be held in the month of March/ April 2018 will now be held tentatively in the month of June/ July 2018. The bank has also changed the date for download of call letter for preliminary examination. Now candidates can download call letter from 6 June 2018.

According to a statement from General Manager, SBI Central Recruitment and Promotion Department, all the new dates are tentative. Candidates should keep checking our website regularly for any new update regarding SBI Job Openings or SBI Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) Recruitment.
