IB Security Assistant (Executive) Exam 2018- Registration to Close Tomorrow, Apply Online

Tomorrow, November 10, is the last day to apply for the Security Assistant/ Executive Examination 2018. Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released the notification for Security Assistant/ Executive Exam 2018 and the selected candidates will be posted in Subsidiary Intelligence Bureaux, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The online application submission process for recruitment to 1054 posts was started on October 20, 2018. Though, the application process will end on November 10, 2018 applicants can still deposit the exam fee till November 13, 2018. Interested candidates are advised to register at the earliest on MHA’s website – mha.gov.in.

It is important to note that, to sit in the exam the upper age limit is 27 years. Candidates must go through all the parameters for age relaxation. Matriculation/ 10th class pass candidates from a recognized board and having knowledge of any of the local language can apply.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written exam and interview. The written exam will consist of one objective paper and a descriptive paper. The test will also assess the speaking ability of the candidates. Written exam will carry negative marking. The cut off marks in written exam is 35% (34% and 33% for OBC and SC/ ST candidates).

How to Apply for IB Security Assistant/ Executive Examination 2018

Eligible candidates can apply online through the Official Link. Candidate should take a printout of the registration slip/ application form for future reference. Candidates are requested to bring a passport size colored photographs (identical to the one uploaded) and identity proof in the original such as Voter Card, Driving License, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Identity Card issued by University/College etc. at the examination centre.

If you are eligible and interested but have not applied yet, then you can do so by visiting the official website. The Admit Card release date has not been announced yet, but after the completion of the registration process, the organisation will release the hall tickets for the exam. Appearing candidates can download the admit card for the Security Assistant Exam through the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs, by entering the application form number and date of birth. Call letter will contain details such as name of the candidate, roll number, photograph, signature and date of the exam, time, centre name. It is important to note that candidates need to carry their admit cards to the exam center. No hard copy of admit cards will be issued to any candidate.
