IBPS SO 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for CRP SO-XI should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by the organisation. Candidates should ensure that they must have the required age limit and educational qualification.
I. Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either
(i) a citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

IBPS SO Exam Pattern 2021
A lot of changes have been seen in the recent Exam Pattern of IBPS SO 2021. To crack the IBPS SO Exam 2021 it is important to be acquainted with the updated exam pattern for the paper. The exam includes three stages: Prelims, Mains and Interview. It is mandatory for every applicant to clear all levels of examination to get selected to the post of Specialist Officer in participating in multiple Public Sector Banks.
Changes Introduced in IBPS SO Exam:-
(i) The sectional timing of 40 minutes for each section in the Prelims exam has been introduced by the exam conducting body.
(ii) Exam will be conducted in three stages: Preliminary Exam, Mains and Interview Round.
(iii) Prelims exam pattern for Rajsabha Adhikari and Law Officer is the same.
(iv) The Mains will cover questions only from Professional Knowledge Subjects.
(v) Score of Preliminary Exam will not be taken into consideration for final allotment. The final selection will be based on the Mains Exam and Interview Process.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. The adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

IBPS SO Interview
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main Examination for CRP SPL-XI will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre, address of the venue, time & date of the Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the call letter.

The Centre, venue address, post applied for, date and time for both Preliminary and Main examination and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter. Keep checking the IBPS Admit Cards page and eligible candidates can download his/her call letter by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. It is important to note that no hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier.
