Every year, Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) conducts exams at the state level to recruit eligible candidates for the Executive Branch and Allied Services and Judicial Branch of the Haryana Government. Job Opportunities through HPSC Exams – Eligibility Criteria
HCS (Executive Branch) Exam:- This exam is conducted by HPSC for the recruitment to the posts of District Food & Supplies Controller, Tehsildar, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer, etc. in Haryana Civil Services (Executive Branch) and other allied services.
Eligibility Criteria – The educational qualification required for HCS Executive Branch Exam is a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ or equivalent degree from any recognized university. Candidates holding age between 21 – 42 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
HCS (Judicial Branch) Exam:- This exam is conducted every year by HPSC for the recruitment to the Civil Judges Posts in Haryana Civil Service (Judicial Branch).
Eligibility Criteria – Candidates must be Graduate in Law from a recognized university or institution. Candidates holding age between 21– 42 years can apply for the exam. Age Relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the rules.
Application Process for HPSC Exams – Apply Online
Candidates can register for all the HPSC Exams through online mode only. They will be required to upload a scanned photograph and signature as per the format given in the respective advertisement. Application Fees need to be paid offline. Candidates are required to take a printout of online challan for payment of fee at any branch of SBI. Once the application process is done, a Unique Registration ID Number will be generated and displayed on the screen. Candidates are requested to note down the Registration ID Number. HPSC Exam Pattern – Selection Procedure – Latest Updates
The HPSC Exams consist of three stages i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personality Test/ Viva Voce. HPSC Preliminary Exam will be objective in nature and HPSC Main Exam will be descriptive in nature. After the Main Exam, a Personality Test/ Viva Voce will be conducted. The merit list of the selected candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Main Examination and Personality Test/ Viva Voce. Candidates can check their results at the HPSC Results page as soon as they are released.
