Set up on 23rd July 1985, Recruitment and Assessment Centre is the center of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). RAC came into existence after getting exemption from the purview of UPSC i.e. Union Public Service Commission. Each year, the center conducts various recruitment programmes to recruit scientists in the laboratories of DRDO in a variety of scientific and engineering disciplines.
